Step 1: Identify the colour-coded plugs and sockets on each tree section.
Step 2: Insert each plug into its matching socket with the corresponding sticker.
Step 3: Plug the main cord from the receiver box near the tree base into a wall outlet.
If your tree comes with a foot pedal, simply step on it to turn the lights on or off.
Begin by fluffing the branches to create a full, natural shape. Add the lights first if your tree isn’t pre-lit, then layer on garlands or ribbons. Finish by hanging ornaments and placing your tree topper.
The easiest trees to assemble are pre-lit models with pre-fluffed branches. Balsam Hill’s Flip Trees are another excellent option, designed to minimise heavy lifting and simplify setup.
Secure the base, then attach each section from the bottom up. Fluff the branches, test the lights if it’s pre-lit, and decorate in layers — starting with lights, followed by ribbons or garlands, and finishing with ornaments.
